Grateful for opportunity to experience adventure. And life--FULL life. We spent our second mandatory day off in Montreal. Me, Dirk, Nick, Casey, Charles, Kristy, Marshall, and Callie. It was so great! Such a neat city. LOVED swinging on the swings and playing on the playground. LOVED the clouds. LOVED driving north on 15 to
get back to the States...not. Wrong way. But hilarious. LOVED eating at Applebee's together even though our waiter was awful. Thank you Lord for something different. The last couple days have been full of adventure and community and it has been such a gift. And rather unexpected I'd add. Sitting in a park that overlooks the city of Montreal, grateful that I said yes to the adventure of today. Grateful that I didn't settle for normal. What is normal anyway? And I pray that I continue to see the adventure to be experienced every day. Because that is life with Christ. ADVENTURE. I'm never too old, too young, too unfamiliar, too busy, or too poor for adventure. I hope that that is always my attitude. Today I am extra grateful for the people in my life who remind me that there is adventure to be found in the daily. I am grateful for the people who push me towards life and life to the full. Grateful for the people who push me past complacency and into new experiences. Grateful for the people who remind me that interruptions can be divine appointments. Grateful for the people who encourage me to say yes to the unknown and to go for it.
